If I have it my way, everything is customized, handmade, and made-to-order with native, natural, and local resources. We make things that can be repaired or refilled and we make it well. Less waste is created when things are made this way and it encourages a slow, thoughtful, and meaningful pace in the world. We make things out of love and put our soul into it. We make it to bring genuine happiness for ourselves (and others if we should choose to do so), not for the gain of anything else.
To create things with care is to guarantee quality. It is rewarding to serve it to others knowing you took the time and effort to craft it. With everyone pursuing their passions, it is a society of artisans giving and receiving their craftsmanship. There is a mutual respect, understanding, and appreciation in the world this way instead of mass producing products. An item made quick and disconnected is valued as just that -- disposable.

Custom items are essentially a creative expression unique to the individual. Everyone has their own preferences like colours, shapes, patterns, style, etc. Everyone has their own needs and natural sizes as well. For instance, women do not all have the same breast sizes. One woman can have one breast noticeably larger than the other. A tailored bra would guarantee a comfortable fit for her.
With the encouragement of creativity, we will live more fulfilling lives as we are free to pursue our heart's desire. I reckon majority of people would not choose to spend their time on work that hold no meaning to them. Many individuals wish to walk the path towards their passion, but is hindered due to not making enough money to secure their survival. Our basis of security is each other. Everyone has their own unique set of skills to help one another thrive as a community. Every skill is valuable.
I propose that we no longer partake in mass production. This reduces our stress greatly as we're no longer under pressure to rush and work fast-paced and it lets nature breathe. Right now, mass production contributes to over-harvesting plants, deforestation, and mono-culture. There are many endangered plant and animal species and imbalance on Earth due to overconsumption.
*Note: Search the web (I use Ecosia) to learn more about over-harvesting, deforestation, and mono-culture.
